Robin has always participated in trade related organizations with the goal of advancing the trade of hairdressing. He was President of the Guild of Hair Design and a long-time member of Intercoiffure, the international organization.
He is the former Chair of the Provincial Advisory Committee on the trade of hairdressing whose objective was to set standards for hairdressing for the Province of Ontario.
Currently he is a Member of the Board of Governors of the Ontario College of Trades". "As an independent, industry-driven body, the College of Trades will be in a better position to raise the profile of and promote involbement in skilled trades, and make the system of apprenticeship training more responsive to the evolbving skills and training needs of Ontario employers and consumers.
As a Member of the Bloor Yorkville Business Association and Robin has supported their local events. In addition, Robin has spent a significant amount of time raising money for charity (click the charity selection for details).
